3 guinean nabbed by the zambian immigration department for illegal entry



The Department of Immigration in Chinsali on Saturday, 4th January, 2014 arrested 3 Guinean nationals for entering the country illegally. 

The trio was intercepted at an immigration check point after it was discovered there were no entry or exit endorsements in their Guinean passports. 
They are currently in detention at Chinsali State Prison pending prosecution.

Meanwhile, A Zimbabwean at Chirundu border control has been arrested for illegal entry. In Luapula Province 3 Congolese men and a Rwandese were arrested at Nchelenge and Kaputa Immigration controls respectively for illegal entry and illegal stay. 
A further 2 Congolese men were also arrested at Matanda Immigration Control for the same offence.

In other developments, in Isoka 2 Congolese nationals were arrested for illegal entry. 
The Kasama Regional Immigration Office also removed 2 Burundese nationals via Nsumbu border control for illegal stay. Meanwhile, in Chingola 2 Congolese women were arrested for illegal entry.

In Nakonde, 8 Congolese nationals were refused entry into Zambia when they attempted to enter using inappropriate travel documents. 
An Egyptian was also refused entry into Zambia by immigration officers at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport when he failed to satisfy entry requirements.
